It was Deposer who led them out and looked like hanging on as they approached the final furlong. However, it was Ouqba who stormed up to take the victory in fine style at 12/1.

It was a fantastic tussle for stablemates Spacious and Heaven Sent as favourite Lush Lashes faded badly under the extra weight. It was Spacious who stayed the better to win a close battle.

The feature race of the day saw a three way battle between Vision D'ETat, Tartan Bearer and Never On Sunday. It was Vision D'Etat who came from last to first to pip the favourite who seemed to lack the turn of pace needed to get up.

The race was a one horse show as the favourite Forgotten Voice stormed clear with a couple of fulongs to go and he never looked back on what was his first start on the turf for this talented horse.

This race ended up as a procession with the American horse Jealous Again establishing a big lead by half-way and he simply went away to win in brilliant style for the second winner of the week from Wesley Ward.

It was the Queens horse Golden Stream who led the field heading into the final furlong for what would have been a popular winner. However, it was Moneycantbuymelove who finnished the stronger to power past Golden Stream.
