The Queen Anne is always a top quality group 1 race and this year looks set to be no different with some top horses holding entries to the race. The Godolphin horse Gladiatorus is likely to be the one to beat having won his last three races including last time out at Nad Al Sheba in March.
A win for Gladiatorus would be Saeed Bin Suroor's 8th victory in the race which would be a remarkable achievment. Paco Boy is one with a serious chance after some good showings in the past, he was 4th last time out in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury. There may be slight doubts over whether he gets the trip which would be a worry for Paco Boy supporters.
Aqlaam was also in the Lockinge Stakes when he came in a poor 10th place which connections couldn't understand. However, that may have just been a blip and past performances are enough to warrant serious consideration for this one.
The Queen Anne Stakes is is a Group One race that is traditionally the Royal Ascot curtain raiser and is open to thoroughbred horses aged four years and over. View the Queen Anne Stakes Results
