The St James's Palace Stakes is always a big betting event and one of the horses attracting most support at this stage is Mastercraftsman who the Irish 2000 Guineas last time out at the Curragh in May. He looks perfectly suited to the 1 mile and will certainly take all the beating in this one.
Another horse with an entry is Delegator who was a good second in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in May behind Sea The Stars when he went off as favourite. He was a disappointing 8th behind Mastercraftsman at the Curragh and didn't seem to fancy the heavy ground.
